Perth native Harnwell first joined Glory in 1998 from local outfit Sorrento and quickly cemented himself in the starting eleven and earned a reputation as a strong, uncompromising defender with a penchant for scoring important goals. After a brief stint in England in 2003, Harnwell resumed his career with the Glory. He made the switch up front in mid 2006/07 and sensationally netted a hat-trick against NZ Knights while also capturing the club's Golden Boot Award with 7 goals. Awarded the 'Supporters Player of the Year 2006/07' the popular player will continue to ply his trade in attack this season.
